ICC Evaluation Service Updating ICC-ES Reports to Comply With I-Codes
Starting on January 1, 2008, when the new California Building Code becomes effective, building officials will need to use current ICC-ES reports and verify compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) when approving products. Therefore, ICC-ES is actively engaging their report holders who hold reports based on the UBC to apply for a conversion of their reports before January 2008 to show compliance with the current International Codes.
